Bull Prints In 3D

At Bull Products we have invested in a Zortrax M200 Desktop 3D Printer to help us design and create prototypes for new products, primarily components for alarm systems. So far we have created and printed designs of detectors; this is a step forward to creating a product that suits specific requirements. The first print-out however, was not a component, alarm, or detector but a genuine model of a bull, see above picture of bull (unfortunately not of a Hereford variety).

Designs are drawn up on CAD programmes such as AutoCAD or Sketch Up, they are then imported onto an SD card which is inserted into the 3D Printer. The printer reads from coordinates and uses LPD (Layer Plastic Deposition), which is precise layer material application technology providing detailed and accurate prints.
