Largest regeneration project outside of London protected by Bull
The Cygnus Wireless Alarm System is enhancing fire safety for workers, protecting the largest regeneration scheme of its kind outside of London.
The Keepmoat Homes NorthBridge housing development at the Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area in Glasgow is due for completion in 2021. Featuring 826 new homes, retail units, a new school campus and lots of community spaces, the £250 million development is set to transform the city.
The Cygnus system features an impressive signal range, high-strength connectivity, and can be moved around the site as it expands, offering the ideal solution for a site of this scale.
The comprehensive range of fire safety equipment now protecting the site includes the Cygnus Fire Call Point Alarm, a variety of fire extinguishers and fire trolleys, offering enhanced fire safety for both the workers and the site.
The Bull fire extinguisher range includes CO2, foam, water, multi chemical, powder and wet chemical extinguishers, meaning there is something suitable for every type of fire that could arise. We offer a free site survey to ensure that the correct fire extinguishers are installed onsite.
Bradley Markham, director at Bull Products, says: “Winning this major contract is testament to the outstanding capabilities of our Cygnus Wireless Alarm System. We are proud to be working with Keepmoat Homes to make fire safety a priority throughout the construction of this development.”
The Cygnus system is well-matched to large-scale developments such as this, thanks to its ability to operate in 15 zones with up to 32 devices per zone.
