Cygnus Alarm System Installed On Redrow Galaxy House Project
Over 75 Cygnus Alarm units have been installed on Redrow’s Galaxy House Project; a new development of 290 homes on the former site of Bank of America building, Galaxy House – Morello quarter offers a superb choice of one, two and three bedroom apartments in four connected buildings with concierge and boutique hotel style reception area.
Cygnus has been specifically designed for use in dense concrete and steel structured buildings, and areas where there are many other radio frequencies in use. Particular attention has been given therefore to achieving an extraordinary long range connection and distances in excess of 1.5km have been recorded in an open air environment. Like many other companies, Redrow have incorporated the first aid function which has been designed to operate differently from all other types of alerts and alarms. Once triggered, the first aid alert will beep intermitently every 8 seconds at 84dB, the control panel notifies the user the exact location within a zone where the alarm has been triggered, thus making it easy for a first aider to reach the patient quickly.
