Bull protects new homes next to Buckingham Palace

We are excited to reveal we are providing a range of fire safety products to protect the construction of one of London’s most prestigious residential developments, No. 1 Palace Street.

Due for completion by 2020, the 3,900 sq m prestigious apartment development will be the only residential building to directly overlook the Palace gardens and will comprise of 72 apartments in a six-storey Grade II-listed building.

The project involves the refurbishment of the existing Grade II listed building, construction behind the retained facades as well as the build of a four-storey basement offering additional luxury facilities.

We have supplied our Fire First Responder Stations – a fully customisable and central point for all fire safety equipment including fire alarms, extinguishers and signage. The responder station cabinet can be configured so that it will activate the alarm to alert authorities when the door has been opened, thus providing maximum protection when it matters the most.

The Cygnus Wireless Alarm System, combined with 3G Auto Dialler, has also been installed. The Auto Dialler offers heightened out of hours protection, ensuring that the site manager is notified if an activation or intrusion has occurred onsite. It also allows the user to identify the cause of the alarm, whether it be a fire, first aid or intrusion emergency to ensure a quick response.

Bradley Markham, Director at Bull Products, says: “Fire safety should always be a top priority when it comes to protecting sites during development – it’s crucial that adequate fire safety equipment is on site from the beginning to protect workers around the clock.

“Our proven ability to protect listed buildings and construction environments in busy city centres means we are well suited to protecting No.1 Palace Street.”
